Day Out & a Secret Plan

*runs onto the blog* Hi! I am very sorry for my absence in the last few days. Thank you for those of you who commented/emailed to ask if I was ok, yes I am ok and I was very touched by your kindness.

We are currently deeply involved in lots of planning and doing of a very exciting project for us, which has sort of taken over our lives. It involves our 'garden'. It involves breaking our compact rule somewhat, BUT we feel that this project will push us towards the direction we want to be going towards. All will be revealed soon (hopefully early next week). Dave is very busy working away, while I am very busy planning everything, organising, uming and errring over things.

On Sunday afternoon, we did take a break from the said project and went to Manchester.  We went to MOSI to see the Da Vinci Exhibition, but also saw a steam engine on the go.

And also the textile room to drool at all the cotton yarn (mmmm think of all the lovely things you could make out of all those yarn!!)

We finished off the evening with a side-stitching helarious couple of hours with Stephen K. Amos. He is possibly the funniest stand up I have ever seen and I highly recommend seeing him (as long as you are not easily offended, he does not pull punches nor does politically correct).
Right, we are heading back to the project...
