The Garden Project - Day 4&5

Dave managed to squeeze in some more work in the garden on Thrusday and today. He's almost finished with the build, and tomorrow we should be able to start filling it with soil. I'm so excited!!

We've had several seeding trays dotted around the house for the last couple of weeks but I've come to the conclusion that most places were just not sunny enough for germination. So I decided to maximise the sunniest windowsill in the house, going from this:

 

To this, with some scrubbed up bricks from the garden and some shelf off cuts from when we bought too wide shelves for the store room:

It's very unfortunate that the sunniest windowsill is at the head of our bed! 

I also made 10 jars of olive & bees wax cream, hopefully enough to see Dave through while I am away in Japan for a month in April.
