The Garden Project - Day 6

Dave has worked really hard and he has finished the building work!! So we shovelled all the compost that we had at home. Managed to fill one bed up to the top, with the rest to be filled tomorrow.

We are sooooo close to finishing, but have about two more days of work to do before it's totally finished. I am so excited and looking very much forward to sowing seeds soon.

Yesterday, I finally finished making the basic flowers for my Sakura blanket. All hundred and twenty of them! Making them sometimes felt like a hard slog as my mind would wonder towards other things after making about 6 flowers!! I have now started to add the green row around each flowers now, which takes a little less time, managing about 20 an hour. Once that is done, they will all be connected into one bright springy throw.
